The Economic Development Corporation of Decatur and Macon County
is the primary economic development agency in our community. Our services include: - Comprehensive database of information on available sites and buildings, demographic data, labor market information, wage and benefit survey.
- Workforce training resources involving employers, public schools and community college.
- Assistance in site selection, expansion needs, financial resources and other services throughout the planning and development process.
- Marketing presentations, area tours and coordination of other area organizations focused on economic development efforts.
- International marketing assistance (i.e. MA-JV contacts, export sales, technology exchange, business alliances with internationalfirms, foreign financial contacts).
- Trained and skilled economic development professionals to assist with business needs.
